  1. What is Reconnect?
    It is an online tool that supplements non-profit organizations’ fundraising efforts. It is a website that makes giving and asking for donations easy, simple and secure. It brings together organizations like yours in one venue over the Internet, letting you conveniently spread the word about your cause, as well as post updates and important information about your organization. This means you become more accessible to more potential donors.

  2. Who can join Reconnect?
    Any Philippine non-profit organization can join Reconnect, whether or not they are based in the Philippines.

  3. How can I maximize Reconnect as an additional online medium?
    With more and more people accessing the Internet, Reconnect becomes a necessary supplement to your other fundraising efforts.
    • Through Reconnect, you can introduce your organization and your cause to the online audience.
    • It lets you update potential donors on your organization’s news and activities. You have total control over what you put into your website.
    • It provides a secure online payment system, making donations more convenient and safe for donors.
    • The ease and convenience that the Internet provides makes giving and asking for donations so quick and simple. Physical distance is not a hindrance anymore for donors and organizations. You can even widen your donor base here and abroad.

  4. What packages and services does Reconnect offer?
    Reconnect has two (2) packages, the Basic Package (Php1,000 / year) and the Advanced Package (Php5,000 / year).

    The Basic Package includes you in the Reconnect directory listing. Being listed in the Reconnect directory aids in making your organization known to more people. You may also post news and articles about your organization.

    The Advanced Package includes you in the Reconnect directory listing, allows you to post news and articles, and provides you with an online calendar. On top of that, you can set up and manage your own website within the Reconnect website. More than posting news and articles, you can design your own website, create your sign-up sheet, and add sections for your fundraising projects, updates, reports or other important information you need to share with your donors.

    Additional services at your disposal include the Online Donation System with AsiaPay, which provides a secure and convenient way of receiving donations from givers worldwide. There is also the Email Campaign Tracking Report that helps you measure your email campaigns, as well as helps you profile and analyze your database.   5. What can it do for me as an organization?
    Through Reconnect, you can harness the potential of the Internet as a medium for communication and information dissemination. It supplements your other fundraising efforts.

    It aims to gather organizations such as yours in one website. Since Reconnect serves as an online community of non-profit organizations, potential donors worldwide will immediately know where to go.

    Your presence online makes you more accessible to the global audience. For instance, you can post updates and other relevant information about your organization in a web page or a website. In short, you can begin an active and continuing dialogue with millions of people outside your current reach—at such a reasonable price.

    Also, Reconnect offers a secure online payment system through AsiaPay. This makes giving so easy and simple for donors. Distance is not a hindrance anymore! Wherever they are, as long as they have an Internet connection, they can extend their financial support. This means you can tap a wider base of donors in and out the country.

  6. How do I join?

  7. Would I still need Reconnect even if my organization has its own website?
    Reconnect is an additional medium for information dissemination. Reconnect’s services enable you to be included in Reconnect’s directory, post news and articles about your organization, and make your own website within the Reconnect website. These services will supplement your other fundraising efforts.

    Also, we are developing other services for you, such as the Fundraising Campaign Tracking Dashboard, Donor Database Management, Online Donation System with AsiaPay, and the Email Campaign Tracking reports. Once available, these services can greatly improve your data gathering and fundraising campaigns.

  8. Will the content I provide be censored by your team?
    We trust that non-profit organizations such as yours will exercise discretion in deciding on which videos, articles, pictures and other content to post. As such, we will not censor any content in your web page or website unless we receive a formal complaint.

    In respect of intellectual property rights, please make sure that there are no copyright infringements in the content that you post.

  9. Who can we contact for technical assistance?
    You may email us at webmaster@reconnect.org.ph for any concerns. The Reconnect team will get back to you as soon as possible.

  10. Will my page or website be inactive if I don’t get to update it regularly?
    No. Aside from being unable to keep your supporters or potential donors up to date with the latest news about your cause, no major changes should occur if you fail to update your web page or website.

  11. How often should I update my web page or website?
    Your organization decides on how often you want to update the content on your website.

  12. Would I be informed whenever someone donates?
    Yes. You will receive an email from Reconnect informing you of the donation. That’s why it’s important that you provide a valid email address in the sign up form. All communications from Reconnect will be directed to your email address.

  13. Would I have the profile or information on a donor?
    We will give you access to the profile / information on your donors, unless they request for anonymity. We also respect donors’ private information.

  14. Can I access the names of donors to other organizations?
    No. Organizations can only access the information of individuals who have donated to them. However, if an individual makes a donation to your project and to another organization’s project, both of you will have access to the donor information.

  15. Will other organizations find out how much funds we have raised?
    You have the option to share that information.

  16. I didn’t receive my username and password. What do I do?
    First, check the bulk mail or spam folder in your email address. Some email providers have a very strict spam filter and may have filtered our email containing your account details. To make sure that our emails are not blocked by your email provider, kindly add info@reconnect.org.ph and webmaster@reconnect.org.ph to your address book.

    If you did not find our email from your bulk mail or spam folder, please log on to our website, click on Forgot Password Request and type your email address. Or, you may send us an email at webmaster@reconnect.org.ph and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

  17. I lost my username and password. How do I retrieve my account details?
    Go to the Forgot Password section and type your email address.
